Fix your link. You need to use the Permalink on PCPartPicker.

What's your existing setup in full? Because "overhauling" a gaming PC but keeping your mid-range GPU and basically nothing else is kind of strange.

Waste of money on that monitor with such a weak GPU.

If you want to fully utilize that 2k res, and 144hz I'd suggest going to a 980TI. Nvidia is said to be dropping their next architecture (pascal) this summer, when they do the 900 series cards will drop in prices.

I have the K70 absolutely love they keyboard, you will not be disappointed with it.

Specs of rest of build? Cpu?

I upgraded my gaming rig last month with a GTX 980 Ti and Acer Predator XB1 1440p Gsync monitor. Amazing upgrade from a GTX 770 and a 20" 1680x1050 monitor.

I thought about upgrading my i7-2600K which is OC'd to 4.3 GHz, but it is still running like a champ.

And there really isn't much need to upgrade that chip. Those Sandys are mean OC'ers
