Need you guys help on a cable I can connect my phone and connect it to my TV.?

I'm going to be staying with my boss during this surgical recovery and he's a boomer that doesn't have wifi.

It's not that bad, I was hired in May at the recommendation of his best friend for me to save his company. We've become good friends since May.

What phone is it? I would just purchase a cheap fire stick if he doesn't have a smart TV. Use phone as hotspot.

If the phone doesn't have a video out from it, there is no cable that will work. I'd use a laptop and inexpensive hdmi cable. Download movies in advance.

Unless the house also has shite cell service, this is likely what I would do. Chromecast/Roku/Firestick/whatever. I think that experience would be more pleasant.
