My phone thinks I'm in Austin

Wish I was but I'm not. I googled and found a few posts that said to clear the Google Maps cache. I did that and it worked but it's happening again albeit intermittently. Any suggestions?? TIA

Have you tried putting it into airplane mode or cutting off the data for 10 seconds and turning it back on? Maybe a reboot is needed? My current phone wants to reboot once a week, and it notifies me to so it.
Just some thoughts.

I thought I did that but won't hurt to try again!

Stop drinking Pabst and dressing like you're not sure of your gender.

This happened to me the other day. Started getting nearby attractions for San Francisco. I just hit the update location button in Google Maps and it fixed itself. Very strange. Has only happened to me once though.

It knows you're gay and assumes you live there

If it keeps happening and sending you there, this one is highly unlikely, but are you around other people? Anyone play GPS location based games around you? Someone could be using something like a HackRF or BladeRF to transmit phony GPS signals to fool their phone and anyone else around that person's phone into thinking they are somewhere else.

Mine finds my location correctly 99% of the time, but when I'm at work, in an office building in Baton Rouge, it thinks I'm in houston.
