My Note 4 is still awesome as shite

I got this note 4 like three or four years ago and since then, upgraded twice. I kept this one though as a spare upstairs to control various smart devices. For some reason I carried it downstairs last night and it's been laying around so I been messing with it. It's faster than my wife's iPhone 7 and my s7. Was the note 4 one of those legacy phones that has outlived it's successors? I'm kinda considering selling my s7 and using this old boy as my go-to. It's got a removable battery and expandable SD - the last of the Samsungs with both those features. Seems like a classic.

I've got a Note 3 and I love it. Tough as hell. I caught so much grief when I bought it from all the IOSuckers.But after they went through numerous apples I got the last laugh. Thinking of getting a 8 when it comes out and giving the current a rest. It deserves the retirement.

My 4 kicked it after the charging port broke. I got a iPhone 7+ as a replacement. iMessage and FaceTime are nice, but everything else is a downgrade.

I love taking my Note 3 with me. Been in multiple bars and restaurants where I want to change the channel and get told, "the remote is (a) misplaced or (b) the batteries are dead" and then I whip this out and change channels. 
Seriously, I have no cover or protector on this and have dropped it a million times. The damn thing will not break.

It is and you can get one on eBay for less than 200 bucks. Will definitely consider this phone after my G4 dies.

I remember why I upgraded. There was something wrong with the camera sensor. I replaced the charge dock once with an OEM part for like $15 but the camera malfunction put me shite outta luck.

My Note5 battery finally shite the bed. It says 100% after charging for 5 minutes or it stays under 20% for hours and it's always dead within 20 mins off the charger. Great phone though.

My wife still has a note 4. I love it with one exception or I'd still have it. It's the locked bootloader on ATT. If it was able to be rooted, it would still be a great phone.

Posting from my Note4 right now. It's still my personal cell even after all these years. I prefer it to my S8 work phone to be honest.
