Mobile video player for iOS or Android that prevents buffering ?

There should be a video player on phones and tablets that compensate for buffering somehow. That way if your speed drops a lot or get no signal video/movie still plays without interruption. Talking about on 4g lte and 5g when out and about.
Never found a app video player like this yet but still looking!
Maybe it is not possible ? :(

Video players fetch data ahead of your current spot so that if there is momentary interruption in connection, it can still continue to play smoothly. That's what buffering is.

If things get so bad that you actually see the "Buffering" message then your connection just sucks too much.

As has already been mentioned, buffering is built into these platforms. There's really only 2 solutions for you. Lower the video quality so there is less data to stream (See #6 on this list to change video quality in Netflix) Or you can download shows and movie ahead of time on platforms that let you like Netflix and Prime.
Or you can tell whoever is complaining that laggy video is better than no video and back in the day you didn't get to watch TV in the car, you had to actually stare out the window at the world and find ways to entertain yourself.
