Any recommendations to one that is reliable using wifi connection?
Many of them I’ve come close to buying have reviews of people complaining that the tv disconnects or forgets the connected wifi networks daily.

TCL is the way to go. Same internals as Sony for a fraction of the price. All my TVs are TCL/Roku, and I’ll never buy a different brand.

Another recommendation for a TCL/Roku. I don’t leave mine outside, but I have a couple that I drag outside on the patio to stream baseball and such.

Neighbor has one under eave of roof that stays out with a towel over it in winter. Been hanging in there for a few years.

Insignia F50. On sale right now. You can get a 55’ for $400.

Honestly my plan is to move the oldest tv in the house to the patio and buy something nice.

*Technically the oldest tv went to my daughter for her apartment and second oldest moved to the patio.

If you are on the Amazon Fire platform, my Insignia Fire TV is badass. It comes preloaded with Fire TV and has built in wifi.

I have it in my garage man cave which is a good distance from my router and I never have connection issues.

The sound is not the best so I invested in a Sony sound bar and everything is great now.

I'm buying another one soon for my patio also. Plus Best Buy stands behind its Insignia brand if you have an issue.
