Can we add in Hulu Live TV to this competition?

Sure, to be honest if Hulu Live had AMC I would jump on it.

Don't really care about the other missing stations, Comedy and Nick.

That's the 1 big negative I have on it currently. I really like the menu layout and the whole application is speedy as hell on my Xbox One S. It beats SlingTV on the Xbox One S and is even more fluid and "snappier" than SlingTV/DTVNow/PSVue was on my Amazon Fire TV.

Odds of Hulu adding more channels like the others are doing? If they get AMC Hulu becomes the clear front runner in my opinion.

I guess their only other downside is the Hulu app on the Amazon Fire TV and Roku isn't updated yet. Which is even more weird because on my Android tablet, the hulu app is updated.

I would bet amc is coming, too big of a station. Weird thing is they have an agreement with them to have fear the waking dead available but not the walking dead.

Someone asked earlier about pausing on Vue and I have been having them lately especially Fox News

Is anyone running DTVN with Chromecast? is it worth it?

I am it works fine with me only issues I've been having is it'll buffer from time to time for like 10-15 secs and DTVN has this 4 hour thing where if you go 4 hours without interacting with the app this message will appear while your watching tv asking if anyone is still there. Which is annoying
because you have to go into app and stop casting then recast to make it go away cuz it stops your programming but other than those two things it's been fine but YMMV.

Do you guys think it's worth using chromecast? For me I don't want to have to dedicate a portable device to stream to the TV. Before I changed TV's I had to use my phone to push Amazon Video to the Apple TV and not use it for anything else.

If you can deal with the two issues I mentioned above it's worth it imo.

I use it in our master, since they won't get off their arse and make a Roku app. I personally prefer using a remote, but I haven't run into any issues at all. I actually like scrolling through channels on the app better than Fire TV/Apple TV.

Another question - about PS Vue. Installed the app on my Firestick. Flawless download. Opened app. Fine. BUT then it told me that to use the app I must enter my PlayStation code. I don't own a PS and don't want one. I'm guessing I can't use VUE. Thoughts?

You can use Vue on a fire stick. Think you need to register the account online first and get the code from your account.

There were no prompts to register that I saw immediately. I'll go back and try again. Thanks.

I think there is a place on the psvue website for registering new devices.

I've heard Hulu tv will be on fire and roku soon. I'll probably go with it during football.

No AMC, NFL Network or MLB Network. Hulu fixes that glaring issue and I'll give it a shot.

Yeah I really just want them to get amc and maybe nfl red zone. As a braves fan, I'm already over this MLB season.

I'm going to have to test the free trial this week in order to see how that goes.
