Hey everyone, looking for a laptop rec.
Would primarily us it for work, the program we run is AMS360 and that's cloud based. Would use it for work emails. Would use it for company rating systems and doing some word/excel things.
Use it on wifi primarily and hook up a printer , an extra monitor and wireless mouse.
I do a lot of multitasking switching between AMS360 and different companies rating sites/programs.
My current laptop is getting old and slow and looking for something new in the 1k range.
Would also like it to be on the lighter side so i can travel with it. Would use it for movies on flights sometimes, but, that's not a major concern.

Pretty much anything will handle your work especially in the 1k range. Get something with the screen size you want, that's comfortable to type on, light enough to travel, and has the battery life you need. If a numpad would be useful look for that.

Pretty much anything will work if your program is cloud based.
Any Mac will do. If you go Windows get at least i5 processor, 500GB SSD, and 16GB of RAM.
That is the standard for most of the workstations at my company.

If you are patient, you can find a perfect laptop on E Bay. I just purchased a Microsoft Laptop 5 on E Bay for $800.
Windows 11, 16 G Ram, I 7 processor, 512 HD. Decide what you want and be patient as there will be several to choose from. Be realistic in your offers. Mine listed new @ ~$1,500. The asking price on E Bay was around $950 or so. Listed in new condition and it was definitely pristine condition.
Good Luck.

I'm assuming you meant SSD. Nobody wants an old school hd.

But, open to anything really. Current laptop is Dell Inspiron.
