iPad. I’ve always just gotten cheap tablets but decided to spend a little more for a good one. Saw great reviews and my IPhone 11 is impressive enough I’m finally in on the Apple shite.
Question is is it actually worth it to get their overpriced accessories? I found plenty of Bluetooth keyboards and protecting/stands for way less than the apple versions and a 20 dollar Logitech mouse from my old laptop works fine.
TL:DR Are any accessories must haves for this thing or is the aftermarket perfectly functional?

i just purchased an ipad pro and bought a few keyboards to see which is best.
i really liked Zagg pro keys and logitech folio.
the biggest fail with the apple keyboards (magic keyboard and smart folio) are they don't have a function row.

i got a generic stylus/pencil (brand: ESR) on amazon for $15 used/like new.
i'll never draw with it, but it works like a long finger for pointing, clicking and scrolling. it's particularly helpful when lying back in bed. also good for signing documents.

Don't know if you take notes but the pencil is great for that.
If you can get one of the generic pencils for that cheap it'd be worth it.
Edited to mention you can use search on handwritten notes in Notes. So even with the epencil you can search anything you write which is a must for me.

I got the smaller iPad Pro with the magic keyboard and pencil2. One of the best features (IMO) is charging. One cable charges them all.
The paperlike screen protector is a great addition. Makes writing/drawing so much better.
