As was said TCL, Hisense, and Changhong are all basically the same company
I have a hisense 55 4k, the only problem is that the refresh rate is a little slow and when watching espn the scrolling bottom line will lag a little, but it's not bad...it's a pretty good tv for the price. it was a wal mart $350 door buster at christmas time last year. I'd buy another one if I could get my hands on one.

The Sams employee didn't know what he was talking about saying the tv "always wants to do Roku stuff". It is true that the interface is different than other TVs, but you can set it to default to whatever input you want when it is powered on. If you haven't seen one in action, the best way to describe it is that the whole tv is driven by Roku. It's not like most TVs where the Roku is ancillary. The Riku menu drives everything. This your cable box/sattellite box is treated much like a roku channel. It is a different way to have the TV setup, but I really like the interface.
