Is it possible to take a screenshot from your laptop?

After reading up on the subject I was under the assumption that it was possible but I can't figure it out. Is it a simple task?

You can press the print screen button and it will take a screen shot. Then you can paste it or save it.

It's not any different from a desktop. Print screen, open paint, paste. Or use snipping tool and select the region you want.
