dude really? So your solutions is to what? back your photos up to an external hard drive once a week? Or just use a different cloud service other than google as if its any different? Or just do nothing at all and hope you never break or lose your phone?

Yes this has happened to like 1 out of every 1 million persons that uses the app. What's more likely...having your account accidentally shut down or dropping your phone and breaking it?
I think we could literally beat some of you over the head with how awesome google photos is until you were almost dead and you still would stick with apple's awful option because....google.

all i hear is im so apple i hate google and will never do anything with them. Then they walk off and go do a google search.
The issue here is you apple tards are so enthralled with apple that you cant see that there are FREE services what do better than what apple charges you for. Google, Amazon, Dropbox to name a few.

It’s still a high quality photo and video. Google Photos is by far the best free option.

I’m always amazed at what random threads people bump, has to come from a random google search or something because the search feature blows.
