Was working out in the bay yesterday listening to Newell bitch about Latoya de Destroya and knocked my phone over into the water. 5 feet deep and a brisk South current. Dove around for about 20 minutes until I found it. Was still on and blasting WWL. Also had a text from ATT saying my bill was due! No issues with it.

We really don't appreciate the tech as much as we should. It's insane.

Idk about appreciation, my 14 pro max was a brick this morning and made me late for work today, no power no anything and phone was fully charged my wife had to plug it in and simulate a battery pull for it to come back to life while I was scrambling around getting ready for work. This is the first of many bugs it seems like I have had, from overheating twice , random restart a few times, screen locked up after taking a pic one time had to power cycle the phone to get it back. After being on android from its inception to finally stepping away and trying apple on this 14 generation I’m not too impressed with reliability and and having trouble finding where it’s any better than android because so far it’s been far worse and more buggy than my S22 Ultra ever was. I love the ultra watch though that may be the only thing keeping me on apple at this point. Also forgot to mention all the car play issues

I have a 14 Pro Max, also, and it’s my 7-8th different iPhone since inception. I’m Apple products top to bottom. My 14 Pro Max has seemed buggy compared to previous models. I think the newest iOS combined with some new features like the “pill” and they have kinks to work out. I’m not worried about it. I have faith they will.

Seems that way, I’m gonna stay on apple a minimum through the IPhone 15 to really give it a good go and see how it develops. Like I mentioned I really like the watch I’d hate to make a 900 dollar watch useless by going back to android. Hopefully the bugs get worked out

I’ve had that happen to my 13 pro twice now I think. Set it on a wireless charger every night but it’s been a brick come morning. Has caused me to set an alarm on watch as well just in case.

I've got a 13 too and the battery lasts forever. It is not a Pro, but it uses a lot less battery than a Pro and does everything I want. Excellent phone.

Was it in a case? I had mine in an Otterbox case but never had to test its waterproof integrity.

Same here, except no bugs to report out of the 14 Pro Max so far. Had great service out of my 12 Pro Max, but the AT&T trade in promo was too good to pass up. Got $1k in credits for the 12 plus a one time $150 bill credit. Made the 14 almost free. Even then I really only traded for the fresh battery. The 12 was great.
