iOS camera aspect ratio

Did any of you people know that iphones don't let you change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9? I keep getting shitty pics shared with me in 4:3 so I tried to change it on a friend's. Nope. Can't.

This is maybe the most stunned I've been yet in the phone wars. Apple sucks. Thanks for listening.

There’s a button directly in the camera app.

of all the things to complain about. You know almost all professional photography is either 4:3 or 3:2? If they did have a 16:9 option in the camera app it would just be cropping the top and bottom of the image. If you're so hung up on it, just double tap the image to zoom in/make it full screen and you would have exactly what you're looking for.
