As someone who has climbed the pyramid and is a member of 90% of these sites, don't waste your time. It takes years to get there. Unless you're wanting some super niche stuff, it's much easier to get it other ways.

he was talking about dragging an image to the URL bar to make it bigger. And to your point I agree. 500,000 members is what turned what.cd into the best music repository in the history of mankind, not some closed off snob site like exigo with only 2,000 members and a ridiculous invite system.

i have an OPP tshirt somewhere. in my memory that was the best ever but of course what.cd eclipsed it by 1000 fold and if you couldn't find it on WHAT it probably doesn't exist.
(although I did have some rare 4AD vinyl that i uploaded that wasn't there before)
