Not sure why I would switch from Vue at $35 for this with no AMC.

No Nick, Jr. either. That's a killer in our house. Gotta have Bubble Guppies and Paw Patrol.

meh

They'll eventually add more channels, and I have no doubt the service will run very well.

Interesting. We use the Xbox One S as our main media hub so this gives us 1 other option other than SlingTV. I may give it a whirl.

Wait - this is a steal if this is correct. My wife and I were already paying:
11.99$ for Hulu commercial free.

Now I can pay:
43.99$ for Hulu commercial free + live tv
-11.99$ gives me live tv service for:
32$

and can eliminate slingtv. Hmmmm, I'll definitely give the 1 week trial a spin.

ETA: I got a downvote. Ha.

LOL not me!

I don't use Hulu but I could see better value there if you did.

Looks like two streams at the same time for the regular price. You can bump up to unlimited streams for $15 more per month, which appears to be quite steep.

They've got a DVR

They don't have any live locals like PSVue has WAFB. But I still might give it a try because my wife feels completely lost with the PSVue interface. Maybe Hulu's is better.

But no Fire TV or Roku support yet so...

Curious why you deducted $12 from the Hulu package of $44 ... you're not paying $32, you're paying $44 now. Deduct the $12 from $66 if anything?

If I'm thinking correctly it's because I already pay for Hulu (no commercials) @ 12$ + SlingTV @ 45$ making my bill = 57$ for TV service.

Whereas with a total payment of 43.99$ I get Hulu + Live TV.

Looks exactly like Vue's core package. Unfortunately I use a Fire TV and PS4 as my streaming devices, neither of which are supported. Too bad, I would have given it a shot.

Missing from the lineup are HBO, AMC Networks, Viacom, Starz, and Discovery Communications channels

You're right. Also no NFL, MLB, or NBA networks. Hard pass on hulu.

Anyone else using it tonight? I'm a bit confused as it has 50 hrs of dvr but that seems absolutely pointless for hulu.

I don't understand the DVR. Added a show to my list and didn't record the Americans

The Americans airs on Tuesdays. Did you add it to your shows last night or on Tuesday? I haven't tried out the service yet, but just curious if it was user error or service error.

I like the service. It's faster than sling and seems snappy. Really like the ability to see graphic images of what's airing on the channel. Think it was CBS sports network last night airing the penguin game and seeing my whole screen show a hockey image. Pretty slick layout.

My only confusion is the dvr and "my stuff". If I put "the americans" in my stuff (formerly favorites) then what's the point of dvr?
