How to disable Google Chrome tab groups on Android

Post this to address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-tab-grid-layout
For tab grid layout change to disabled
Close all tabs and restart Chrome

You're a genius. They had this in a beta version and I hated it. I would have probably suffered a few days until I searched up a solution

I tried it for a little bit thinking maybe I just didn't like it due to muscle memory and not liking change. But I still hate it

I like the grouped tabs, but I also keep like 30 tabs open on my phone. Lol.

I would have been mostly indifferent about group tabs if the group didn't stay displayed on the bottom of the screen. On a phone screen real estate is precious.

I have a Oneplus 7 Pro 5G that this no longer works in, but I have a Samsung S20 FE that still works with this command.
Weird. Both are set to disabled. Only works in the Samsung, but did work in the One+

This stopped working on my pixel 3a today as well.
This worked for me as a fix:
Past this is address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-tab
Set table grid layout and tab groups to disabled
Close all tabs and chrome and restart
I'm guessing Google will eventually not allow this to be disabled, but for now I just don't like the grouping of tabs

I have a oneplus 7t. Got hit with this again after an update today. Was a new one creating it called price check or something like that. Some sort of price assistant for shopping. See if you can find it in flags and disable it.
