That's the entire point of data caps exactly. It wasn't an issue until the TV numbers started plummeting. Now all of a sudden we can't afford all this data. Money grab plain and simple.

Yup and the thing is I pay for the full package of cable, too.. so I pay a huge cable bill..

To me, they should offer some incentive for having cable TV.. they should maybe remove the data cap or something since I am not even a cord cutter and I go way over my limit with ease..

but they won't.. I talked to them about this and they flat out said it was all about making money.

It would be a wonderful way to get people to go back to cable IMO..

1,200GB right now

at $10/50GB i'm already at $40 in overage charges with 2 more painful days left to go.

its my damn ring camera right now thats killing me. it goes off constantly because of all the wildlife in my area and uploads those 1080p clips to AWS. i guess i can simply go yank the wires out of it for a few days.

THANK YOU frickCAST.

its like i have 100 faucets that have been left open all over my damn house and i'm constantly playing 'what is chewing up my data now?' games so i can keep under comcast's frickSHIT cap.

i hate comcast. this data cap is bullshite.

Does Comcast offer an unlimited package?

Cox charges an extra $50 for unlimited/no cap.

I hate it but I rather just pay it then going over every month or monitoring my usages. I have too many people in my household.

Agree. I can kinda see where the cable companies are coming from in regards to cord cutters who just want to stream everything. But if you’re still paying for cable having a data cap is absurd
