How annoying is the Hulu ad plan?

Currently do Hulu no-ads for $12 a month.
Also do Apple Music for I believe $15.
Spotify is running a deal right now where you sign up for their $10/month premium service you get Hulu ad version for nothing extra.
Considering it. Thoughts?

if the ads were just for new content I could deal but they got pretty annoying if binging older stuff...so I upgraded
spotify kicks the shite out of apple music though

I know it does. Their whole spiel about “we’re gonna collect all the data from you we want” really turned me off.
Not saying Apple doesn’t. Apple has a massive collection but Spotify definitely has the better playlists, interface, algorithms etc.

How annoying do you find regular TV advertising? I'd rate Hulu ads about 10% better because they give you a countdown clock so you know what you have time to take care of before your show is back on.

Download tweak box and get Spotify premium for free. Keep your no ad Hulu

jumped on the 99 cents/month deal last black friday. I don't find the ads annoying at all

Hulu Ads is somewhat annoying to me. For 20 minute episodes I'll get somewhere around 3-4 minutes of add. That's a lot.

I had that deal and it was great. But someone hacked my Hulu account and changed my plan. I got in and changed everything back, but Hulu won't give me back my $0.99 per month. I have to go with regular price.
I am trying to decide if it is worth it.
I really only use Hulu for my favorite old sitcoms.
I didn't find the ads too annoying. There was a countdown clock and I was only paying $0.99 a month. I will have to think about if it is worth the full price.

I switched last month from amazon to Spotify for the free Hulu and overall cheaper price. I was hesitant because amazon has like 50 million songs and Spotify 35 million but I haven’t looked for a song yet and come up empty. The playlists are great and makes it special in my opinion.
At first it was confusing using Spotify but now I love it.
As far as the ads on Hulu, it’s really not bad at all. Not as bad as cable. I also like the ad clock in the corner saying how many ads and how long it will last until your show comes back on. Makes running to the bathroom or getting a drink fun.
Overall it was a solid choice to switch. Would do it again easily.

I kept Apple Music, kept Hulu no ad, and added free Spotify.

It is annoying because even if you pay there are some shows they are still obligated to ruin with advertisements.
I would say their advertisements are standard compared to the horror that is CBS All Access.

That's less than regular tv for a half hour program. Which is about a 21 minute show. I did the Hulu/ Spotify deal and see commercials on the first episode I watch but not on the next couple. Catching up on FTWD FWIW YMMV.

I don’t find it annoying. There’s ads but like someone else said there’s a countdown so if you want you know you can go to the bathrooom or do other stuff. I have really only watched tv series that are about 45 min runtimes so I don’t find the ads are overwhelming. Also it seems like sometimes after a certain point, the ads stop all together.
