I haven’t found much of a discount going used so I’m gonna buy new. Which lens would be best for my art and street photography? Just going with one lens for now and will add another later.

Sony Website
Body + 28-70 mm Zoom Lens
$2,199.99

Body Only
$1,999.99

New Egg via 6thAve

Body Only
$1,670.18

E-infinity

Alpha a7 III Mirrorless Digital Camera with 28-70mm Lens
$1,829

Body only
$1679

Same price for previous two at Willoughby’s camera emporium

Is the Sony 28-70 mm lens worth buying the bundle? Is it what I need? I’m doing video and pics for my art. My post history has some of it but I work with canvas and have been doing custom shoes/cleats like the ones I did for Ja’Marr Chase

I bought mine from Bedford. Great customer service. LINK

Also B&h is my main place buying camera stuff. Go with the Tamron 28-75mm 2.8. It is a great overall lens.

B&H Photo is reputable. Not sure if they’re any cheaper than others. That lens is ok and fairly basic. I’ve never used it, but just looking at the specs. I’d prefer their f2.8 24x70 but it’s expensive. And I like a 35mm for street photography because of the lower profile.

I picked mine up right when they came out on Greentoe for $100 off. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I would put in an offer around $1600 (close to the grey market ones linked above) and see what bites you get. Then you get a US Authorized dealer under MSRP, and don’t have to worry about warranty/shady arse new egg.

BTW - the Tamron lenses for the Sony Mirrorless cameras are great and much better priced than the Sony stuff. I'm shooting with them now and have been really pleased.

B&H and you can’t go wrong. I have been buying from them for 20 years. Unparalleled customer service, and sales associates know what they are talking about.
