Been down since yesterday with it clear from Down detector site that Houston and much of Texas are down. Get home today, still put so I decide to call AT&T and get “Chris” clearly in India asking me to run troubleshooting I already did and telling me I talked to a guy and the outage was corrected this morning. Wastes 30 more minutes or my time to tell me that I need to schedule a technician to come in. Next available appointment in 2 days when I am at work.

Told her I don’t have time to take off work to wait for a tech to show up and if it doesn’t come back on it’s own, I’m just going to cancel cause it is unreliable. She panics and notes it. I refuse to schedule tech and so it ends.

Until......her supervisor calls me because she was concerned after our conversation because I didn’t schedule the tech.

Absolute worst company I have ever done business with... by far. Cancelled and went with mediacom... couldn’t be happier...

I refuse to do business with anything that AT&T owns or is associated with.

By far and away, the worst company I have ever dealt with for customer service.

They aren't trained properly. There's no accountability. And they simply don't care.

Uverse was good once upon a time

I traded it for DirecTV, which also sucks now thanks to AT&T, but I traded like 4 long outages a year for a million very short outages a year

My TV and internet bill had gotten up to $300. $70 internet and the rest TV.

Switched TV to Dish Network for $100 a month. Call Uverse to cancel TV package. You have to keep TV service for unlimited internet so I would lose unlimited internet. But, they backed my TV service down to bare bones package. One TV, no HD, no DVR and no premium channels. Best part is they increased my internet speed and cut my $70 rate down to $40. I have no clue what happened but I was expecting to pay $200 for TV and internet and now I'm paying $150. I hung up confused but satisfied.

Any experience with Spectrum?

My new choice after we move are Uverse or Spectrum.

Leaning toward spectrum but never had either service.

I'm a little disappointed with the picture on high def channels, but the internet is blazing fast and the price is very good.
