Google Storage Full - No Longer Receive Emails

Got an alert that Google storage is full and won't be able to receive emails. Most data is in Google Photos. I take a lot of photos on trips and for work. What do you do to store all the photos because I need my emails.

When you got that message, I imagine it gave you two options: delete data to get back below the cap or pay Google to increase the cap.

I had to pay. It's like $1 or $2 a month. Either that or lose videos and images. Emails and docs didn't make a dent when I removed as much as I could.

Option 1...Pay
Option 2...Purge using their tools (will buy you some time)
Option 3...Setup a new gmail and start uploading photos to that one...download and transfer to it to free up space on your normal one.

I paid, and can share the extra storage w the wife. I also went through and downloaded a bunch of pics/videos to my external to clear up even more space
