Well, when it's your job to support operating systems and the networks that they run on for a living, people tend to have a favorite.

Sure but I've used both OS's and I think each does things well and they also don't do things well.
Hell, not to mention Windows 3.1 compared to Windows today.

I might just be old enough to remember the evolution of each OS.

What kind of junk are you buying? I've never had one last less than 5 years, including the various machines I've bought and/or installed for family/friends. You get what you pay for.

I have two Mac Pro’s, one a 2009 and another a 2014, that both still run fine like the day i got them.
At least all that money buys some quality parts. However, there are plenty of cases of Macs failing early. Just because you have experienced it in your sample size of TWO doesn't mean they all last that long.

News flash: "the day" is every day. Every single fricking day, a young Mac dies too soon.

Seriously....do you click on everything you see?

Also, stop buying shite. If you spent as much that you do on a Mac on a quality PC, it will last way longer than 2-3 years.

I'm posting from a Mac and couldn't resist your dumbassery.

I think in general, anyone that has such a high opinion on one OS vs another and feels the need to shite on the other OS is a person that needs more hobbies than computers.

Well that’s the thing right? I mean I use windows, macOS, Android, iOS, tvOS and everything in between. The point that some kid makes a post about Macs having an exploit, c’mon man how many exploits have Macs had compared to everything else? And how quickly did Apple patch it?

The OP clearly just wanted to rub it into Apple fans faces for some juvenile reason and failed miserably.

Get over yourself OP, I use them all and have a lot of experience with all. I’d put my money on Apple security over all of them.

And no, I don’t own a MacBook Pro as my web browser as cptbengel or whatever suggested as Safari would be the web browser, dillhole.

Then you'd lose your money. Apple products have been proven time and again to be just as susceptible to exploit as any other OS, if not more so.

OSX's seeming lack of malware in the wild is strictly due to low market share.

Perhaps, but given all these years and the fact few Mac users use antivirus you'd think they'd be ripe for the picking.

Yeah and Windows basically has all these exploits preinstalled.
