This rain has knocked my shite out for the last 45 minutes.

I guess my dish could maybe not be properly aligned. But morenlikelynits just fricking directv.

Change to a non-HD version of the channel, they are hardly ever affected by rain.

I don't think they make them anymore, but you can still get them. They work like a champ with the Genie (puts the off-air stations on all the Genie boxes). Doesn't matter how bad the storm is, you'll still get the locals and the guide recognizes them so it makes it seamless between your antenna and the sat channels.

I don't know what he did, but I had a technician out earlier this year and ever since then rain has no effect on my signal. Lighting is the only thing that knocks it out now.
