Anyone know how to stop the "bounce" animation for app drawer

When you first swipe up the app drawer or go to the end of the apps it "bounces" the apps. I don't care for it

You're not going to have any control over that on Pixel launcher. You could try Nova if it really bugs you that much.

When did you get 8.1? My Pixel 2 XL is still on 8.0 and says I'm up to date.

I just updated to 8.1 and I don't know what you're talking about my apps don't bounce at all. I have the pixel 2.

Yep. Still seems to be a ton of people waiting. Supposedly, they're going to make the "Check for update" button actually work next year.

IT worked for a few previous updates but I guess they decided to undo that for this rollout

Get Lawnchair for your launcher. It's just like the pixel launcher but with some nice customization.

Got it on my Pixel XL 1st gen last weekend
ETA - I don't have an icon bounce either

8 days after the rollout and i still don't have it. I really need it too to fix the recording issues on my pixel 2xl.

I just went and checked for updates again. It was finally available for me. Installing now.
