Anybody experiencing a lag when loading pages using Microsoft Edge browser? I can't say for sure but it seems to have started happening with the last update.

I am on a GIG internet connection and my speed tests checks out fine but it just seems like there is a second or two delay in resolving a web page using Edge. Switched over to Brave browser and no issues.

I'm using the latest version of Edge based on the Chromium engine and no problems with around 30 tabs open.
Here's the link: Edge based on Chromium

I just hit a few pages with no lag. My first guess would be to look at any extensions you have and turn them off. Maybe some ad blocker or anti-malware extension had a bad update or needs to be updated.

I had the same problem right after the update. Everything seemed to be fine yesterday though. I think it was a bug with the update.

just download Chromium and forget all the poop that Microsoft puts on top of it.

Is there a specific reason you are using Edge? It's always been a garbage browser. Just download Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Puffin....or go to the search bar and type in Internet Explorer.

Edge is now built on the Chrome Engine and is in fact a very good browser now.
