I can only imagine the number of coeds cars that need to be pulled out of those little runoffs in between the rows.

Very interested. Really want this thing, but every time I put the finger on the trigger I come across new issues. Multiple threads on DJI forums regarding the camera sensor. Two of the DJI reps in the forum claim this is a known hardware limitation of the sensor that is present in all of the units. They may be able to patch still shots via firmware but video is next to impossible to fix. Probably just need to get over it, right?

well since im not a professional cameraman making movies i dont really care about that hot spot issue, and i dont think anyone outside of people filming for an oscar should. No normal person would detect that without the enhanced software that guy used.

I really like it. It isnt very stable in higher winds, but that is expected. And i also thing the sensors need a ton of light to work. I wish they worked more around dusk and dawn. even though you arent supposed to i would love to get night vision on this thing to fly at night.

I agree with this in the context of that thread. There are multiple threads linked within that one where the spot shows in normal backgrounds. What bothers me is DJI's response that it is completely normal. It literally is the perfect unit in my mind in terms of size and capability, but reminds me a lot of the Phantom 2 with its issues.

What are you trying to do?

That type of question is a confusing mess. Basically if you are flying commercial, stick to commercial rules. If you are flying as a hobbyist then you have a choice of flying within Part 107 or flying under the hobbyist rules. If the drone is registered under part 107, it's probably better to stay under part 107.

R/C, helis are a blast, but expensive especially based on crashing. Planes are still expensive, but you don't crash as much once you get good.

i mean i have my own mavic. and my company might buy a drone to fulfill its needs, with me being the pilot. So is the comercial tag on the drone or the pilot. As in do i have to abide by the commercial rules when im out on the weekends flying recreationaly.
