Directv / Controller Lag

Anyone else have issues with their DTV controller lagging? What i'm referring to is when I hit a button it works, and then i'll hit another button and it won't do anything so i'll hit it again and still nothing. Then, finally it decides to work and all the buttons I hit happen at once. We just upgraded to the Genie 2 receivers so i thought maybe they would have fixed the issues, but it's still happening. Very much considering leaving DTV as i cannot stand this.

I had a tech out recently that had to fix my satellite transponder and asked him about this. He showed me how to go into settings and check a couple things that would cause this type delay. I worked for awhile, but recently it has started back again. I can not remember the procedure off hand and will report back once I can get into the settings later on this evening to check mine.
ETA: I only have this problem with the DirecTV remote, and not with the wifi iPad remote app. The app is instant.

Mine has been doing this thing where I scroll through the guide and have selected say channel 2 but when I select that channel it always gives me the selection of one page up or down from where I have it highlighted.

Agreed, I have recently found the app and can use the remote from the app if I get too frustrated with it. Using the controller is much easier and quicker (when it works) but the app is much less frustrating.

I did right up until last week when I ditched directv finally.

The remote to our main box is spot on, but there is lag when using the TV in the bedroom that is linked via the whole home system.
