Two total streams is really a joke. Not sure how it will be viable for a family.
Two seems extremely stingy.

I'm fully expecting them to charge another $5 or $10 for "unlimited" streaming and they'll claim it's a victory for the little man.

Capitalism at it's finest. I love it, but I see the irony in it.

If you don't want to wait 4 weeks, you can walk into any AT&T store and walk out same day with an Apple TV

So the 35/mo is a intro offer you can keep unless you cancle. Is this there top package or is there another one with more?

There is 1 higher tier package that's 70$ and has 120+ channels. I honestly hadn't even heard of most of them at that point.

The only channel in the $70 plan that would interest my household is Boomerang and since I am grandfathered in at $35, I am not paying another $35/month for cartoons.

That could be VOD type of cartoons?

Or I can just switch to my kodi setup....

so I was looking at ditching Sling for Vue, mainly for a better interface and to have a few local channels in my streaming service. now thinking about DirectTV now, esp. with the Apple TV/ Fire Stick promos. local channels aren't that big a deal. that said:

1) how is the interface for DTV Now vs Vue? bout the same/ better?

2) Apple TV or Fire Stick? I already have a Fire TV, and I side loaded Kodi, wouldn't mind having Kodi elsewhere in the house (also have a Roku 3, Roku stick on other TVs... and yes I know I can't use em with DTV Now, yet). but I've also seen some complaints that the Fire Stick can be pretty laggy. any insight there?

Apple TV or firestick? That's like asking if you want to bang Mila Kunis or Rosie O'Donnell

I think Directv Now has a better UI than Vue, and I thought Vue had a better UI than Sling.

Sorry for the confusion. The PP was asking about the highest tier plan for $70 a month.

I looked at the difference between the $60 plan ($35 intro) and the $70 plan.

I don't see myself going to the more expensive plan just so the kids can watch Boomerang. They can find a new channel for that.

Yes, but you will be subject to your carrier's data rates though.

They just set me up in 5 minutes but abc,NBC,and fox aren't included even though the salesman insisted they are. Anyone else have this issue,of course day one with att and it's not as advertised

I signed up on the phone, had an Apple TV so I logged in right after, they told me they'd ship me an Apple TV in 5-7 days if I paid 3 months. Can you check with them what's up with fox, abc,NBC. I was told all were there they are not. You have fox business, fox sports,fs1 but not fox. Same deal with NBC sports but not NBC. ABC is nowhere to be found in the guide.

I think they're limited for now. It's the first day so I wouldn't expect a smooth launch.

I guess,it just doesn't make sense why everything but the main basic channels don't work unless they're not gonna include them
