It’s about a 30-60 second delay. Not too noticeable honestly but if you’re that worried about it, do a free trial and test it out

Only thing really holding us back on YouTubeTV is the delay for sports and such. Can anyone chime in on how noticeable it is?
Ours is usually 20-30 seconds. It's best to stay off Twitter during the game.

We just got it as well, love the music available on it

There is the same delay with Directv now. I try to use OTA for sports if I can. Someone mentioned music. Check out Dash radio, very much like a free XM radio with limited commercials

I’ve had all of them, started about two years ago with Sling. Was ok, just didn’t like not having local channels. Went to PS Vue, was ok. The functionality is not great. Went to TouTube TV and never looked back. YouTube TV gives you way more for your money with the amount of accounts alone and the family share. Plus YouTube has been in The streaming business the longest and does it right!

And Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, Animal Planet and TLC.
yep wife would kill me if i ditch Vue to YouTube TV with no HGTV
but man the YouTube TV app on a smart tv is smooth.

I'm in the process of trying to overcome that hurdle. On one hand, Xfinity gigabit just basically offered to give me the TV service for about $30, but I REALLY liked having YTTV... unlimited cloud dvr, great guide/interface... and the wife was pissed about HGTV/Hallmark.
For anyone interested, I did find another service I haven't tried yet called "Philo" that has HGTV, Hallmark, Comedy Central, Discovery, TLC, etc IIRC. Only $16/month... which for me seems like way too much for those channels, but if you have a significant other/spouse who would shite bricks with YTTV, it might be a viable alternative... but then you hit over $50/month on tv again... damned if you do, damned if you don't.
For the next 30 days, I'm hard testing the Xfinity service (since $30/month differential just is lower than what I wold have paid with YT and Philo...) on my super non-technical wife with a roku stick in the master bedroom... I'm honestly baffled sometimes with how much she has trouble with basic TV remote functions for someone as intelligent and well paid as she is. It may still be an epic failure... as such, I'm going to keep YT for the month as well in case I decide to do internet only with them and keep the YT service... no reason to lose my $35 rate.

I have YouTube TV, and I’m not saying it’s not a good value at $40 per month for what you get, but if you’re paying $60-$70 per month on internet, and if you still want to keep Netflix for movies, what incentive is there for people to ditch their traditional provider when they are not really going to be saving any money?

It varies in my experience. I was talking with a buddy who lives in Missouri during the NFL playoffs and he was a whole two minutes ahead of me. The next day our feed was at the same time but keep in mind the game was on a different channel then (he has cable).
