They are having DNS issues. If you log into your router and go to the internet tab, you can set your DNS addresses to :

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

You should have internet again.

Charter has the worst customer service in the business, and depending upon where you're located their infrastructure can be crap as well. I switched to DSL back in 2003 because Charter went out about twice a week.

During non peak hours, their customer service is super effing fast. When an outage occurs frick them.

Call in on your way to work sometime and they will refund you money in less than 10 minutes with a credit. Say you had outages for 2 days and they will refund you 1/15 of your bill. Some people around here that could be close to 15-20$

They were great at my old house but it's gone down so many times since I moved. If I had another option I would do it but I don't.

Out in Mandeville as well. Judging from their Facebook page, it's fairly wide spread across the country.

I guess I'll have to switch my DNS to 8.8.8.8 on all my devices.

Just got home and still out. I'm too drunk and lazy to mess with it though. Their phone menu changed to include outages though

Out in St. Landry. I'm using my iPhone as a hotspot with the 4G to connect via my Macmini. Works pretty good.
