Apologies for the grainy picture. Any idea what this cord is and where I can find one?

I know it’s gross, it’s in a commercial kitchen

can you type out all of the markings on the cable? should reference the # of conductors and the gauge of the wires on the jacket somewhere. After getting the cable you would have to get the right size connectors and a crimper and properly crimp the ends. where are you located?

Therer's really, really bad terminations and then there's the abomination in the photo.
Possibly a comms cable but I'm not discounting power.

prob both

Yeah, comms with limited power. There's a Belden cable with those conductors. It's not flat but those are the uses.

Only writing I can find on the wire

Comms. It would have to be a pretty short run to carry power and at most it would be low voltage power. What devices are it connecting?

This is what you need to google to find your replacement cable.
It is POTs cable

The cord connects from a kitchen display screen to a “bump bar” - a device that allows you to clear an order off the screen once it’s completed.
The KDS pulls orders from the point of sale but this particular cord does the function I listed above

Yeah, I thought that but it's 5 conductors (unless one was stubbed off). POTS is 4, 6 or 8 conductors.
AWM means appliance wire material. POTS also uses twisted pair which this cable is not.

Yeah, it's comms. It probably powers the "bump bar" as well. Unless the bump bar has a separate power cable connected to it.

Yep, it’s the only wire going to the bar
I appreciate all the info. The POS vendor is telling me I need to replace the whole KDS at the cost of a few thousand $. I’m fairly certain it’s the cord so I just need to nail down which one it is. Is my best bet taking the wire somewhere? My ops guy is tech illiterate more than I am, I’m trying to make it easy for him

Judging by the care they took in terminating that cable I think your suspicion is solid.

It is using 6. The gray/uninsulated one is probably just being used for bonding.
