Original CRT from the Blitz cab. Chattanooga has a store called Chattanooga Pinball, they had warehouses full of old beatup arcades, I'm not sure how much stock they have since they have moved stores a few times. I bought an old NFL Blitz 2000 cab from them. It has a bigger CRT from normal cabs since it was a 4 player cab and wasn't as collectible as an original TMNT cab, so it was cheaper. All the artwork was beat up pretty bad and didn't have the control panel or game board in it. Basically a shell and monitor.

I eventually want to replace the CRT because it is starting to have some issues at the top of the screen, but it is ok for now. I have to make all changes to the system through another computer because 640x480 is not fun in Windows.

We need to jump on a Discord one night, I'll post here or the PC thread my end goals from this project.

Don't need assistance completing, but would like to see if you see any hiccups or problems with my plan.

Does anyone have any input about the GRS flight yoke that's on kickstarter currently? Here's a link.

Just a little info about the wheeling and dealing going on on my end. After beginning January with no cabinets, I scored my first two, Pac Man and Golden Tee, from Marshall's. I struck a deal on OfferUp for a TMNT from someone for a decent price. I upgraded my Pac Man with a good deal on the Costco version with a lighted marquee and stool. I sold the stool to someone on OfferUp who said, by the way, my friend works for Arcade1Up so let me know if there are any cabinets you want.

Apparently, Arcade1Up's been out of the Pac Man stool for quite a while so that's all this guy was missing. Within a day, I got a Star Wars cab and a limited edition Marvel cab for pretty cheap. So now I'm up to 5 cabs for $920, which actually might get better with a few other deals as well.

I plan on doing a 4-6-6-4 mod to the controls on the TMNT. I might do a vertical mod on the Pac Man to add some classics like Dig Dug and Centipede.

One question is, should I add a rollerball to my Pac Man cab? That kickstarter link above has an option to get the yoke, a Tron joystick, a GRS spinner, and a GRS rollerball. So I could add a spinner and a rollerball, but would that make my control panel too cluttered?

I'm hoping that someone figures out how to use the Arcade1up Star Wars yoke with a PC or a Pi. If not, however, the kickstarter yoke would be a good option to allow me to add more recent Star Wars games to that cab. However, it would cost close to what I paid for the Star Wars cab to begin with.

This sounds like that episode of the office where Dwight traded a thumb tack for magic beans.

It looks like my question about the flight yoke has been answered! On the arcade1up subreddit, someone posted that the Ultimarc A-PAC can be used to connect the flight yoke to USB.

It does look fantastic, much better than I thought it would. I hope the boss approves and I can find space.

Bump. Anyone see the new product launch yesterday?

The pinball game looks insane.

Also Marvel vs Capcom! Marvel vs Street Fighter! Big Game Hunter!
