I do have a TV shopping question. Is 120 Hz refresh rate really worth the extra money on newer TVs? Probably if I am asking then the answer is likely no.

Another vote for Sony
I have both an LG OLED and a Sony OLED.

Sony uses the GoogleTV interface. No complaints.

I use Shield TV Pro with the LG and my Shield remote controls everything (TV, Blu-Ray, Onkyo amp, Shield) and that is Android TV, almost exactly the same as GoogleTV.

I have an LG OLED. I added a fire stick 4k because the LG apps sucked. You can jailbreak a fire stick.

Also, LG does not allow you to use a VPN and stream off the browser.

LG was the way to go for a long time, but this new interface is traaaaash. i absolutely hate it and it’s slowed down my LG significantly in startup.
