Best Buy Offers Min. $100 Towards Nexus 9 When You Trade in Any Working Tablet

Maybe handy if you have a piece of trash tablet laying around that you couldn't sell for $100 anywhere. I have a first gen Kindle Fire, for example.
I wonder if you could just buy any cheapo <$50 tablet from Amazon and trade it in to Best Buy, or if they'll pull this vague phrase from the fine print:

Best Buy has few restrictions on the deal, but it does exclude the Nook and other e-readers. To make it short, if you have an old Nexus 7 or Galaxy tablet, now is good time to upgrade.

I have a tablet the wife bought off the shopping channels several years back that is Android 1.5 I believe. I'm guessing they'd politely recycle it for me

I am but I really do wish that 10 came in a better screen format. It's really awkward to hold it vertically.
