So glare will be an issue if it’s not bright enough of a picture.
I know I can shop at Best Buy and ask the same questions but I want d to ask the Tech board before I purchase and see if there were any deals or advices. Thanks

LG OLED 65" if you can afford it is objectively the best TV on the market right now

The OLED TVs will last longer so they are worth it.
10 years for the Samsung’s

Recently got an LG OLED and I’m impressed with how well it handles glare even though it’s not the brightest TV on the market.

LG OLED but if you’re super worried about the bright room being an issue I’d look at the Samsung Q9

LG OLED, best tv I’ve ever had.
Check slick deals for the best price. I learned a ton from reading the comments and out the door I got the 65” C7 for $1400 from credit card price protection to cash back rebates sites.

If you cant afford the LG OLED, the Sony X900E is an amazing 4K HDR 65" for $1500

Was looking at them when I was in best buy buying my Bose soundtouch. Qled TV will be my next purchase at the end of the year and most likely the Samsung, they always have the brightest picture and the option to get rid of soap opera look I cant stand.

Pretty sure all TVs have that option

Why the hell are people telling him OLED for a BRIGHT room?!? OLED is for dark rooms, like Plasmas used to be. Yes, they have better picture, but not for a bright room.

Because that’s how this board operates.
If he wants to add a surround sound system people will recommend SONOS.

Do you have an oled? If not then you don’t know. I have four floor to ceiling windows behind me with two large double windows to my right with a door that has half frosted glass also to my right and another door with half frosted glass in front of me. The room is bright and the oled is plenty bright enough for this room.
Also, I would never recommend sonos for a surround system.

That’s just ignorant to say that oleds are only for dark rooms, where are you getting this bull shite from? You are correct that LEDs are brighter, but who gives a frick about brighter when the picture quality is worse.
From your logic, sports cars are for race tracks. So why would you buy a sports car when you can drive a frickin Hyundai.

In case anyone didn't know. Qled is just a regular LED tv with a filter. You'll still get artifacts and light bleed.
Oled passes light and color through each individual pixel. If that part of the screen is black the pixels are simply off. No backlight.
If you're going to go regular LED. It should probably be a Sony.
