Backpack/Work Bag: Nice enough for Corporate America, but laid back at the same time?

I'm in the market and was curious if anyone has found anything recently that they really enjoy or have any suggestions on?

I'm trying to find something professional enough for work (Late 20s & in Tech for a large company), but casual enough to take on a flight as a carry on and wear with a pair of shorts, flip flops and Ray bans. A nice medium somewhere in the middle I guess

I'm close to pulling the trigger on this, but open to ideas.

What are you guys using?

I have used the Ebags Professional Weekender for the last few years. It has held up really well through airports and weekly travel. They also make a smaller version if you don't need to pack clothes in a carry-on.

The OT board gave me a recommendation of buffalo Jackson. I got a really nice leather messenger that I like. Timbuk2 has some neat bags too. Very customizable.

I'm mid 40's and use a North Face one. I don't care that it may not look professional. It's the only one I looked at that was comfortable when I put it on my back/shoulders.

It is entirely black, so it's not like what some frat bro would use to go to class with. This one, though I don't remember paying $150 for it. Think I paid around $75.

Boundary Errant in Black

I just got this bag with a couple of modules. Without them, it's the perfect size weight, and has some great features and organizations. With them, I did a 2-day trip with just this bag and it worked just as expected.

Small boutique shop, have an interesting camera bag. It's the best everyday carry bag I've used so far.

Fair. Like I said, it was the most comfortable when I was looking for a new one.

I wouldn't pay $150 for it though.

I recommend the Filson bags. They are durable, good looking and there are plenty of different styles to choose from... www.filson.com
