ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) Best Buy deal

It's $999 because the 2024 models are dropping and I am curious if there is any other potential deal in this $1k range with similar specs to this option. This seems like a laptop powerhouse option that would be pushing $2k for a 2024 model with similar specs.

They run this one every year I think. I got the previous year's model in 2023 for the same deal, $1650 > $999. It's pretty damn strong. Only thing is you need to put it on something if you're going to push it to its limits because the bottom of it gets HOT
Edit: I just checked and mine had a 1TB SSD and a Radeon RX 6700s but other than that it's identical to the one you posted

Yes the sale ended at like 10pm last night. I kind of regret not buying it. I'm sure it will go on sale again somewhere over the next few weeks as they roll out the 2024 model. Big issue I saw over and over again was a weak/defective wifi card, which is why I hesitated.
