Yeah, probably. IP 67 is rated to temporary immersion in water. So a few seconds would probably be okay. Wouldn't leave it under there for long.

I use my iphone's camera a lot for work and I was interested for the like the first five minutes, but I'm kind of over it

Some of these things are important for enthusiast or pro photographers, but they aren't really taking pictures with the iPhone. At least not very often.
