Went to Verizon today to upgrade. Thought I was set for only having to pay 9.15 more a month and dude goes that'll be 105 up front. I said what for and he said you have to pay taxes and upgrade fee up front. Said no thanks. Anyone else deal with that? Is there a way around it?
I was really wanting to upgrade because I feel like once you get three generations behind your trade in values suck. If they didn't have this 650 deal, my 6 128 GB is only worth like 250 trade in.

You have to pay the first months payment & all taxes up front.

.....dumb. Oh well.
I'm surprised to see a lot of people liking the flat black better than the jet black. I thought it would be the other way around for sure.
I'm.still contemplating it though. Because the more I think about it the more I think I need to jump on the deal.
For a.7+ 128GB:
$105 up front
9.15x24 months = $220
= 325 total.
That for a phone full price would be $950, where once this promotion runs out Id be looking at maybe $250 trade in. And even if I waited til the "8" or whatever I won't get anything for a 3 year old phone.

That's what the guy told me monthly amount would be after the $650 credit toward the 7+.

Speed scores from this phone are impressive.
It's also beating the S7 in depth tests. S7 is conking out before the 7

What was interesting is that the Rep told me that if I want to upgrade next year, all I have to do is turn the phone in again and Verizon will restart the 2 year contract over. I will not have to pay the remaining balance. So basically, you can keep trading in your phone every year and get the phone for free just resetting the contract.
this is essentially what Sprint does, they call it iPhone forever and call it leasing the phone. You simply lease it for 12 months then trade it in and get the newest model at no additional cost.

Think I'm gonna go ahead and bite the bullet tomorrow for a 7+ 128GB. Now which black. For Verizon folks, did they have the different models in the store?

I only saw the matte black when I went

Anyone else having extremely long charging times?
Just had my 7+ on the charger (standard Apple) for about 2 hours and it only gained 70% batter life...Feel like my 6S charged WAAY faster.
It's 2016 man, why does this shite take so long?

7+ has a much larger battery then your 6s did. I always use my iPad charger to speed things up

this. i purchased a couple new charge bricks that work at 2.4a to replace those that come with the phone. you can get them that charge 2 things at a time for less than $10. my phone (6s+) charges fully in about an hour

This! I take that little one that comes with the phone and toss it in a drawer. The ipad charges really make a difference. Also airplane mode makes a big difference.

Gotcha, guess I'll order an iPad charger. Are we talking about the cord or just the power block?
Links to any good ones?
