Does your car not have bluetooth?

not every car has bluetooth. some people actually drive their cars...gasp...for a long time. in addition to long car rides, riding in airplanes that have free entertainment will annoy some people too. Because I'm going to guess that like 50% of people are going to lose that adapter very quickly. Heck 10% will probably throw it away in the box on accident not even knowing it is there.

Bluetooth is a cool technology and I'd probably use bluetooth headphones if I had them, but I don't want another device that I have to charge every single day.

I am 32, so maybe this plays to your point, but I feel like most people use wired headphones. I'm at the gym daily and more than 75% use wired in my experience. I also work next to USCe and I haven't noticed this huge bluetooth trend. The lack of a 3.5 jack isn't a huge deal, but it's not great for me.

Nope. I'm sure I'm not the only one too.

This astounds me

I thought that like every vehicle, at least worth driving, had bluetooth after like 2008.

Discs were replaced by USBs, not wireless technology

They were also replaced with the internet and in the case of our phones and most devices today, wifi and LTE.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean, but I spend about 15+ hours a week driving for work.

Having Bluetooth in my truck is awesome.

I'm honestly amazed Apple included the adapter.

That was probably the biggest shock to me during the iPhone presentation

My 2008 4runner doesn't have bluetooth, but I have a cigarette lighter one that works okay, for music.

I plan on driving this thing for another 10 years, so I'm sure it's not worth driving in your opinion

I remember in high school I had the player that was a cassette tape that had an aux chord. I still have no clue how that thing worked

There is an adapter for that

If you are working out without Bluetooth buds, then you aren't working out hard enough

This is good to know, but seriously, who wants to carry around an adapter?

I am all for getting rid of useless features, i.e. disk drives which I don't use any more, but I still use the 3.5mm jack.

Tell this to everyone else because everyone is acting like Apple is going to go out of business because of the decision.

My Jeep LJ didn't have bluetooth either, but I threw in a nice Dash screen so all is well now!

We get it, nobody you know uses wired headphones. Everyone knows this is a needless lie to get your point across, but nonetheless, we've ascertained your argument.

If you can afford a $700 phone, you can afford a $200-or less pair of bluetooth headphones.

The people complaining about this are the same people who buy an M5 and then bitch about having to pay for synthetic oil every time you have to get it changed.
