Wanting to "mail" a ripped copy of The Ring for our daughter and her friends to watch for halloween.

I know it can be done, hoping someone has a easy way. Plan to pay to stream it off youtube.

there's so much wrong in this post i dont know where to start.

i'll start here:

buy a DVD for $5 from amazon

or if she is on your prime account (since family members are free) how about pay 99 cents to rent it for her.

Here's a copy on ebay for $2.37 shipped.

Renting to stream isn't the issue, was hoping to mail a ripped copy so it looks like it's from someone she knows. Not like it was just bought on amazon.

Either will work in the long run though.

So you're trying to frick with them?

It would be easiest to get a digital copy of the movie so you can rip it to a blank dvd. Actually a cam copy would probably be the creepiest, especially if it has Japanese subtitles.

Just get a torrent or use a video downloader plugin for your browser and get it from a putlocker site and burn it to a disc if you just want a janky version of it.

I’m not sure how effective a browser video downloader plugin is for a paid YouTube stream, but it may work.
