Yes. It's good. Not up to par with Chat or Grok, but very useable. I like the deep learning provided by Google also.

Yes. I'm somewhat of an apple sheep, well, my whole house is really. However, lately I've really enjoyed what Google has been offering. Most of my apps on my iphone are google related, including Gemini.
Hell, I recently even upgraded to the 20$ a month plan as it (1) includes more google storage, mainly for photos for my house and (2) can be used by my whole family, mainly my wife.
To me, the responses Gemini offers up is faster than ChatGPT. I've only really used those 2 but I got frustrated with ChatGPT taking up to 5 seconds to reply. I need answers quickly a lot of the time and Gemini knocks it out of the park on that.
It helps me with a lot of the DevSecOps coding and concepts I use daily.
TL;DR Version: I like it a lot and it's very useful on the daily. Also, paid version has some perks that others don't offer, if you're invested in Google ecosystem/apps.

Would like to, but I feel like chat knows me? Is that bad?

That's why I pay for it.
I have Gemini incorporated with my home account b/c I was a beta tester, but you only get a stripped down version in pure chat.
I have the same thing with my Workspace account (included for free).
I'm paying on my personal account to test it out to see if I want to pay for the full version for work. I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade cost at this point so I am probably going to try out one of the other paid versions next month.

At work we have Gemini via our G Suite subscription. I haven’t really done a comparison to ChatGPT. I will do that on a project I am working on.
Have you used NotebookLM? I have just started to play around with it, haven’t really found a compelling use case yet.
I do like Gemini’s transcript and notes function in google meet. I have been adding the transcripts and notes from project meetings to NotebookLM. I hope to have it be able to help manage todo’s and delegations that come out of meetings.

No. I don't get many people who want to use Google Meet. I wish more did so that I could explore more of its functionality. I prefer it to Zoom.

No. I need to look into this more.

Transcript provides a decent transcript of the call, notes provides summaries and next steps.
I am currently working on a research project for work where we are considering an expansion into Brazil. I have a notebookLM notebook where I am cataloguing all emails, transcripts and meeting notes. I have been uploading my research using ChatGPT as Google Docs.
ChatGPT has been a huge time and cost savings to understanding the various complexities of opening operations in Brazil. Everything from tax implications and strategy to Brazilian labor law. Has saved us tens of thousands of consulting fees.

Ring Central provides me this, but it's not fully integrated into GWS. It just appeared a few weeks ago

I started messing with it today (my GWS has a Plus account included) and HOLY shite.
I fed it an image-only PDF and it completely read it and broke it down how I wanted. It even created a podcast with 2 AI voices talking about it.
And this is just the beginning as it's relatively new. This is a game changer. I wouldn't say it's trustworthy enough to "turn in" but it can break down pdfs and documents in a way where I can incredibly efficiently review and verify the main points.
And I just started looking into it, but this is mind blowing.
