I am on a trial now with ytv. I'm going to also try sling. My only issue now is I have Amazon fires. I was able to find a workaround to get ytv on my firestick, but it doesn't work on the firetv boxes.
As far as the interface, it is awesome. I've even talked to a neighbor about splitting a ytv account, but we will see

The interface is definitely slick. I have firesticks on my outside/kitchen/bedroom TVs and I had to sideload the YTTV app. It was pretty straight forward. Word on the street is the YTTV app will be officially supported by Amazon soon.

Are you using the live YouTube tv app? Or something else?
I can get that app to load on the fire tvs, but once I click on something to watch the app crashes.
It works perfect on my firestick though

I ran into my first real issue last night: No ESPN3 access with YouTube TV credentials. Apparently this is a fairly new (as of August 1) development. I signed in with my ISP credentials and it worked.

I've tried YouTube TV on my Shield TV, and it works great. Hulu Live on the Shield TV, on the other hand, was working up until last week. It will play everything else on Hulu fine, but will not stream live.

My wife just started a trial of Youtube TV and the UI is a huge upgrade over AT&T Now because of how much faster it is to navigate and load. You will want to check and make sure that it has all the channels you want though.
I have Rokus on all our TVs and I love them.
I used to use a mix of Fire sticks, Chromecasts, and the smart TV's built-in devices but the Roku has become the standard platform for streaming apps.

How much is YTTV? How many TVs can you have on at one time?

I think it's $50 and you can stream 3 devices at one timel.
I asked my wife about it today and she said she wants to cancel YTTV because it's missing some channels that AT&T Now has including Nickelodeon and HBO. Not sure about SEC network but we have it on AT&T now, which is $65/mo.

So am I the only one running YTTV as a secondary monitor off a PC?
I've run HDMI from both the TV and PC to AV reliever and then use the touch pad on a Bluetooth keyboard. And never had any of the symptoms described here.... and never experienced any of these problems. I can turn the volume up on the av-receiver to more than wanted and throttle it back (or up) with YouTube's volume control. Plus you can resize zoom on the fly to get a whole evenings worth of guide in one view.
eta: same with viewing Netflix; which is a big plus because Netflix's PC app is way better than their TV app. And you can always pause (or simply resize a 2nd window) and use the TV for simultaneous online use.... (2nd edit) It'd be a stupid easy way to get two games on same TV screen; just never have experienced the need, since I still have the other PC monitor to view a second YTTV.

Not sure what was happening to you before but ever since its inception, ESPN3 has only been for ISPs. It is not associated with watchespn or TV providers. It appears this was more of a correction by somebody than a change for your situation.

They actually added it back a month or so after they ended access.
YouTube Tv re-adds support for ESPN3

My only complaint about YoutubeTV is that it doesn't have A&E channel. That's one of my favorite and it's just not carried. LOve everything else about YoutubeTV.

Now that football season is over, I'll switch to Philo and the antenna. Once football starts back up I'll switch back to YTTV, it's awesome not be be locked down in a contract.
