Anybody buying the Surface Pro 4?

The i5 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is the one I want. $1299 for the tablet + $130 for the keyboard. I want to get it so badly, but part of me also wants to wait till Thanksgiving to see if there are any good deals to be had (at least get the keyboard for free in a bundle or something).

I would wait at least a few weeks from release, just to make sure there aren't any weird production problems.
I almost pre-ordered last week but held off. Best to see some real reviews before pulling the trigger.

I'll likely buy the entry level (M processor, 4g RAM) for my classwork (accounting/finance) and to use at work (statistical analysis bullshite mostly).

Yeah I'm going to wait until there's a bundle. I'm assuming they'll start that before Christmas. With all the extra add-ons for the SP, it's almost worth it to just go ahead and get the surface book instead.

the solid keyboard cover and docking station would be must haves for me, personally.

On that note, if anyone sees any decent reviews of the new pen or type cover, let me know. I've looked but not sure there are in depth ones available yet.

I sold my MacBook Air and iPad earlier this week. I pre-ordered Surface Pro 4. Essentially spec'd it out to be my primary computer. With tax, title and license almost $3K.

Just ordered mine from BH Photo and Video. No sales tax for my state. Saved about $112 bucks vs. buying from Microsoft directly.
