With Apple buying Dark Sky they are pulling the app from Android of course.

Is there another decent weather app? Don't like accuweather or weather channel app.

I'm in the Accu beta and it's a great redesign. I use it plus RadarScope Pro that storm chasers use.

The Weather Channel app is the best that I've found honestly.

I use weatherbug and it's pretty great. Other apps may have it but i like seeing the lightning strikes populate in real time and it telling me how close the nearest strike was.

It was until I started getting ads to get upgraded services. I can't stand an app that constantly shoves full-screen ads in your face.

That's a shame. Accuweather beta is pretty good. That and radarscope.

When DarkSky goes fully under Apple, will it no longer work or just no longer get updates for Android?

from what I read, it will be dead for Android. Not sure if that means old versions will work or not, but I assume they will kill the tech that makes it operate.

Dark sky is dead on Android as of today. fricking sucks. Any other recs besides those mentioned earlier? It's looking like AccuWeather is closest in layout to dark sky

From what I understand they're closing off access to everything, including the API. So you'll need it through Apple (or whatever Apple is rolling their app into).

So I doubt any older versions will work.

Hey Dark Sky

I downloaded Flowx yesterday. I bought the bronze pro subscription for $3 or $4 per year. The free version does not allow you to customize the graphs. The app seems really good so far, but I haven't had time to see how accurate the forecast are.
