I’m doing a sports fellowship right now and seeing some cool stuff. Still learning a lot. Got to treat a former LSU player who played in the NFL. Totally nerded out in the room with him for like 40 minutes, lol

Rumor is that Konrad turned down an offer from Barca and could leave in January.

Sounds like Barca offered a 3 year deal with 2 added option years. First two years would be with Barca B, 3rd year with the first team. He may be in talks with Hertha Berlin.

Way more chance to get some playing time there right? Personally I think I would rather our youth play their transitional years in Germany than Spain (or any of the other major leagues).

Not really player specific, but this can be a good move for many young players in California.

quote:

Historic Scottish club Rangers FC announced on Monday a strategic partnership with Orange County SC of the USL Championship that will be founded on football, youth development and commercial activities between California and Glasgow.

The new partnership includes several exciting programs, activities and player movements between the two clubs. A number of Rangers Professional and Academy players will go on loan for the season to play in the Championship for Orange County from January 2020.

Three professional OCSC youth players were welcomed to Rangers on trial this December as United States youth internationals Francis Jacobs, Aaron Cervantes and Diego Lopez played in Academy matches for the club.

Full-time members of Rangers staff will transfer to Orange County to help develop and deliver the program on all levels, while preparations are being made for a Rangers squad to participate in a new concept friendly football tournament in Orange County in the summer of 2020 and 2021.

CCV is being recalled by Tottenham in hopes of finally finding a permanent buyer.

He hasn't played since November.

Thought he was doing well and getting some play time early in the season, what happened?

We have another American at Barca. Adrian Simons Gill. 2006. From Colorado. Family moved to Spain for work. Honestly looks pretty good for his age group.

I've had him in the OP under the name Adrian Simons.

There seemed to be some confusion over what his last name is.

In his 2nd appearance since returning from an 3 month injury, Charlie Kelman drew a penalty and took the penalty in stoppage time to level the score and get a draw for Southend.
