Ajax just signed Alex Mendez.
3 year contract. Sounds like he will immediately be assigned to Jong Ajax.
Ajax will have to pay Mendez a high salary due to him not having an EU passport.

Mendez to Ajax kind of came out of nowhere, but on paper that seems like a great opportunity for him.
I believe Joshua Pynadath is also in the Ajax youth team, still.

Ajax not only develops great talent, but their top-down club playing style is going to benefit Mendez tremendously. I love this move

I would guess no, but every time they let him on the field he impresses. I would imagine he'll start with one of the youth teams and probably get some first team bench time towards the winter break

US-U18 international striker Cameron Harper (17) trained with Celtic's first team today. Harper was called up to the US-U18s back in January and is one of the many forward options in the next U20 cycle. He played exclusively for Celtic's U18s last season. LINK
