Llanez has been a great youth player for a while now. Pretty sure he’s eligible for Mexico, but he seems 100% committed to the US. Only a matter of time before he gets a move to Europe.

Former US-U20 goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann (21) got the start for Hertha Berlin II and kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Union Furstenwalde earlier today. With the win, Hertha II moved up to 6th in the Regionalliga Nordost. It was Klinsmann's first start since August 1st.

Has started in 2, but has played in all 4 games for Heidenheim this season.

Hearing the Philadelphia Union are about to sign attacking midfielder (and Jersey boy) Brendan Aaronson to a homegrown player deal. Been a good year for the Union and their academy talent pipeline.

17 years old. Has played 12 games this season for Bethlehem in USL. Has started at least the last 4 games.

We’ve been told that @RedBullsAcademy ‘04 Dantouma Toure has suffered a torn ACL and is scheduled to have surgery. Would explain his omission from the recent U16 NT Camp in Bradenton, Florida. Wishing Dantouma a speedy recovery!

That really sucks. ACLs at that age are really tough.

I personally think the MLS should be focused on getting the best players that they can on the field regardless of their nationality.

The hope should then be that US talent shines through.

Same consortium that owns the new Memphis USL team (Memphis 901 FC) and the Memphis Redbirds (Cardinal AAA affiliate)

Howard isn’t the money guy by any means, but they have made him the face of the ownership group. (Particularly for their soccer acquisitions)
