Wait, so we are supposed to have to recruit players to choose us over Mexico? No thanks, if that's not a slam dunk decision we don't need you. These are the kinds of half-committed wanks that have us in the position we are in now. Oh and Michael Bradley.

I like how no one blames Omar Gonzalez for being terrible, or Nagbe for not helping out defensively at all (on the side both goals came from in the T&T game), Villafana for not closing down the cross or shot that led to the goals, or Howard for letting a guy score from 35 yards out. Everyone focuses on Bradley or Jozy, and granted neither played well that game, but they were hardly the worst performers of the night imo.
But back on topic, I agree and disagree with Randy's sentiment. I want guys to play for the US who want to be on that team. At the same time, we can't ignore the fact that people who come from multicultural families will have strong ties to multiple cultures. I think WSE had a good college football recruiting analogy. Everyone wants to feel wanted. Mexico made him feel more wanted. That said, I still think it's bullshite that J. Gonzalez switched to the Mexicounts, especially since we got him into the program consistently at every level, and I hope McKennie destroys him on the field and makes him regret the decision for the next 12 years.
